Amateur Association of Arizona Golfers (AAAG)

The Amateur Association of Arizona Golfers was developed to protect and grow the game of golf in Arizona. The AAAG will service its members on a local level in the area of handicapping support and playing opportunities. The association will expand its programs in many areas to fully service amateur golfers in the months and years to come.
The AAAG provides the following services:
- Handicap Support - The AAAG will support Members in obtaining a direct license and selecting a handicap computation service. The AAAG recommends Handicomp. The AAAG and member clubs will follow all USGA guidelines.
- Handicap Updates - Handicomp will update computed index values on the 1st and 15th of each month. Members will also receive a Low Handicap and Trend.
- Posting - Members selecting Handicomp will be able to post scores at participating golf courses, from any internet capable computer, or via the "Post A Score" tab on the top left of the home page.
- AAAG Tournaments - The 2012 Tournament Schedule will consist of at least ten events that include opportunities for those of any skill level and a variety of price points.
The AAAG will seek input from its participating golf courses in order to develop programs that will benefit the clubs and membership. The AAAG Board of Directors is currently has been established to uphold the associations mission. The AAAG is committed to establishing programs that are affordable and valuable to both members and participating golf courses.
